Blogging Vs. Tweeting

I have become quite addicted to twitter these days...to the extent that i am unable to find time for blogging. On the other hand, I m on twitter (@abhayagarwal) on an average 4 hrs daily. Its an astonishing number, and i can in no way consider myself to be one of the most active users on twitter. The simple fact is that i find people tweeting almost everytime when i log in the network.
Such addiction levels have never been heard of before, not even when google became a hit with the masses.
The question really becomes which is better: blogging or tweeting. I would say both are hotspots, and in the future none can do without the other. Microsoft's search engine, Bing, even has something to offer in cooperation with twitter(check: www.bingtweets.com). both have their respective gods who are followed like crazy by all n sundry. the idea is to have the benefits of both the worlds. However, tweeting enjoyes a certain edge in the current scenario, being the latest hostpot.
The best advantage of twitter is its speed. A research suggested that twitter has a 15 min airtime advantage over biggies such as CNN News n BBC. Now 15 minutes is an advantage beyong imagination. This was proved in the twitter coverage of recent international news such as the unfortunate death of Micheal Jackson. Without doubt twitter is the flavour of the season.

P.S. This article should in no way be considered as my alibi for being so irregular in blogging :)
